When two orgs decide to work together, the excitement is always high. There is typically a long roadmap for all stakeholders to get the most out of the new collaboration.

SUCCESS

Maintaining the excitement and interest is key to long term relationships. Reiterating that everyone is working towards the same goal is important. Feeling and seeing the success mount helps provide direction and culture.

IS IT ALWAYS THIS WAY?

Cut one corner, get two. It's important for all sides to be realistic about the scope. Victories come in different shapes and sizes. This is especially important to remember for longer projects.
